In late 2016, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners centralized and moved all accounting functions to the Auditor/Treasurer's Office.  The finance team staff includes eleven members under the direction of the Auditor/Treasurer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to the County Board, departments and outside entities
  • Capital Asset Reporting
  • Preparation of the annual financial statement
