WHAT WE DO:

Mission:
The mission of the Douglas County Public Health agency is to protect, maintain, and improve the health of individuals, families and the community.  Douglas County Public Health envisions all people having an equal opportunity to attain their highest level of physical, mental and social well-being.

To achieve these goals, the Douglas County Public Health agency is composed of more than 50 educated staff.

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:                                  

The main entrance for Public Health is located at 809 Elm Street, which is the new entrance for Social Services/Public Health on the upper level of the Douglas County Services Center at the south end of the building, off the south parking lot.  Please check in at the Social Services/Public Health reception desk.

For Douglas & Pope Counties Environmental Health, WIC  and Early Childhood Screenings,  you may also enter at the 725 Elm Street entrance, on the west side of the Services Center, one door south of the license bureau.

All package deliveries should be delivered to the Social Services/Public Health reception desk at 809 Elm Street.
